FALL IN LOVE WITH SPRING AGAIN....

This course explores a healing thought: we are connected to all that is. Being mindful in nature dismantles the lie that to be human is to be, essentially, alone. Feeling isolated deepens depression and spurs the anxious mind.

Awe and amazement help us connect, but seem scarce in the fast lane. The great outdoors serves up plenty, yet many of us suffer from "nature deficit disorder." An elemental approach shapes this course.

Meditation in the natural world

Mindfulness is the practice of being fully present in the Now—without judgment. Many meditation courses teach how to reach within by letting go of destructive chatter in the mind. We'll take this further in our connection with nature—learning that wholeness of mind, body, and our green world can heal the soul.

The textbook: about relationships

Take this course and receive the text, Elemental Love Styles, by Dr. Craig Martin. The author shows us how to use the elements of nature to be more successful in all of our relationships. We'll discuss the book, work exercises and explore meditations related to how mindfulness of air, fire, water and earth routes us back to joy. Dr. Martin's book stresses starting with the relationship you have with yourself. But humans are not separate from the natural world. A healthy mind has nature in mind.

Eco-coaching

The exciting new fields of ecopsychology and clinical practice of ecotherapy document that when a person avoids Nature, they become ill. Depression and anxiety are epidemic and spreading, affecting ever younger persons. Your coach for this course struggled with both disorders for much of her life. Ten years ago she was led to explore nutrition, meditation, plus a deeper relationship with nature--and found full recovery. With help and support you can find your own way to drug-free, mental wellness.

Break free from depression and anxiety...

open gently to what the Earth shares.

In this age of ecological peril, the hurt goes both ways.

The healing can too.
